Also side note: story time.Last year when I graduated high school we went to our Diploma Ceremony and we got to stand up on the stage receiving out diplome to whatever song we wanted to put on the speakers. Everybody put silly sentimental songs. Adele and such. I put on this. 'Cause I was feeling hella sexy that day too.
I'm jealous-- I want to here whatever song I want on the speakers when I graduate! (knowing the chaotic bits of myself I'd probably choose "Within You Without You " or "Maxwell's Silver Hammer " just to fuck with everyone, but if I were to be serious I'd just graduate to "Hey Bulldog " b/c that songs makes me feel cool as hell) but at graduation at my school its just all silence as the teachers read our names off the list and we walk up and get our diploma, and then like the concert band plays Pomp & Circumstance, which ngl I'm gonna miss playing those trumpet parts for those songs.
My friends also went with silly songs. One received his diploma to the ALF theme song, another to the second Dragon Ball Z opening and one even chose the music of The Incredbiles. But it was just us 4, the rest were pretty lame, as you'd imagine, corny mfs (they didn't realize the power that was in their hands).
EDIT: Also 500th post already hell yeah

Exploring a bit more of Gil Scott-Heron's discography.. just listened to his swansong I'm New Here and am now on Free Will. I think Pieces of a Man is still my favourite track for track, but I really enjoyed the more modern and electronic production choices on I'm New Here.

I was obsessed with Fishmans for a while last year, but I haven't listened to them much since then, so when I put on the whopping 45-minute long live version of 'Long Season' last night, I a s c e n d e d. How does it have the right to be this good?

Been watching the Toho series of Godzilla & monster movies and I remembered I used to beat this song in Guitar Hero when I was younger. Such a fun badass track.

There's no end to this music, bro. This music it ran through The Beatles – a placard! As one of the vehicles that helped to free the people from this chill and bondage of oppression...

A nice tasty playlist of various McCartney, Pink Floyd, and Zeppelin acousticy/down-home/pastoral/folksy tunes from about 1970-1973 that I've made for all my yardwork needs. (I've not finalized the tracklisting or running order as I'm listening to it on shuffle.) I think @lovelyritametermaid might enjoy it.
Edit: I forgot to add, I'm looking to expand it, any suggestions are welcome (CSN perhaps?)
